Sennheiser has sold its consumer audio business - to hearing aids company

Audiophile quality hearing aids :gs1000smile:

They aren't discontinuing any products, are they?
Many companies such as Westone were hearing aid companies before they offered high end custom in ear monitors. Westone and Jerry Harvey pioneered the custom, hell even the in ear field as thats where the crossover and multi driver in ear came from. This was long before Jerry Harvey had Ultimate ears as a stand alone company.

Sennheiser better bring out a mind-blowing HD900 soon.

They are turning into an old hat.

Yamaha, entering the Head-Fi Space.

New Yamaha headphone makes the HD820 look like a plastic mess.

If they maintain their current prices and don't scale to the current insane prices... That's ok... The new Yamaha headphones look very good, but they are priced to the current standards...

What I'm waiting from Sennheiser (and also other people in this forum) is availability of spare parts for our current headphones (HD 6 and 8 series pads and headband padding...)

This is to totally misunderstand what Sennheiser was about. When they were about putting out great stuff and not marketing it, they succeeded in pro audio and consumer headphones. Who says old hat is bad or wrong?
