Pretty certain I went overkill getting the ZXR to drive just the 350SE but today it's driving me nuts that a pair of ATH-AD900 sound better than the Sennheiser for music.
The technica headphones sound great on an ipod since they don't need an amp compared to the 350SE and even with the amp soundcard they still sound better.
I feel like i'm doing something wrong with the sound card but maybe it really is the headphones. The setting on the headphones is at 35/300 for resistance and I can set it to 600 but I haven't since these aren't 600 ohm headphones. I do have this all plugged in through the ACM (could this be the reason??).
Any thoughts on how to make the 350SE set sing or are the AD900 that good?
