Yes, I can only share what I see and hear mainly at these shows.

Cyberdrive was nice enough to give me the basic Seiun player and the JR2 (early version) for review and feedback.
They were handed to me at the shows.

I accepted as I thought it would be useful to you guys to hear what their other products are sounding like. To give an idea of what the Pro/X might be like.

Unfortunately for the JR2 review on my Head pie blog someone left some nasty angry remarks about Cyberdrive, which I can understand given the delays and communication.
The parts accusing me of being a paid reviewer (on a blog of ten months) was a bit too much.
Even Jude (a fan of HP) knows Head pie is a free, unpaid hobby horse.

But I will continue to give updates regardless.

The sound seems good on the Pro/X, just need to get that UI working right.
Must be soon!??!
I dont know.

Looking good now and hopefully in our hands before Xmas. I am not sure how the dock will sound as a pass through for otg. Using UAPP USB audio player pro in bit perfect mode has been the best Android solution for me so far...
Through an IFI IPURIFIER 2 and an Intona reclocker...Now fed off a separate 20000MAH battery. The dock specs at 12V -24v. It should sound better with an LPS or big IFI SMPTS...
But I wonder if I can use the dock and my 5v battery mod for OTG... Just use the dock as a holder on just use out going data +- and GND and come off my 5v clean battery?
I assume the 24v is for an amp to drive the speakers and phone but I am not sure.... Never sure of anything really...

I am still in the patient zone I know most aren't.... More scope on time from the beginning....September would have been a realistic target but we did think these these were close to production ready.... There has been one advantage here....The engineering experience getting their other products to market means more experienced eyes looking at our player.... Frustrating especially when other players leapfrog our CF products....but lessons learned over time benefit us....
In the spirit of crowd funding we have supported them.. "better late than never "was never a more true statement when it comes to crowd funding....
Now its just later than we hoped....

Still looking forward to get my hands on this and see how it can improve my streaming to my Brooklyn DAC. .
Just some Sunday random thought's. .. and a hi all to the thread..

I look at all things as if it was me...How would I deal with these issues ....Like in all life..no one thinks the same as you but it gives you that extra bit of empathy and understanding.....
I comment here trying not to think of my immediate need for a shiney DAP...
Just to add a level opinion regardless... Months ago it was another CF con...The waits hard but I expected lots of delays. No project is perfect... Poor communication hasn't helped and just drives frustration...
I said at the start I have no idea if it was worth it until it's in our hands..
We haven't event talked about the android adaption yet or the player APP... General regular updates...
Any final worries have been removed by Expats kind write ups.....
People have a right to post anything within reason here... I wouldn't have it any other way....I have spent almost a lifetime depressed....I am too tired to get angry over Chinese electronics... Shouting at the DVD player isn't fun and frightens the neighbours cat....
