Went to high school 3 blocks away. Small world! I'll be there. Always wanted to try that place by the ferry dock so I'll be at b-fast as well.

I'll have:
Hifiman HE560
Philips SPH9500
Denon AH-NC800

Possibly my Senngrado build
Possibly a Denon D2000 w/ alpha pads and MarkL modded

Amp:
Project Polaris

Dap/Dac:
Ibasso DX100
Laptop with Fong Audio "Out Of Your Head" speaker/surround emulator and Yulong D100 DAC/AMP

Can we get a free-b table going? *edit: yes give and take table

I should be able to make it to this meet. If all goes well, I should have the Light Harmonic LightSpeed 2G USB cable in my hands by this time.

I'll bring along my usual stuff as well
Headphones:
  • AKG K 701
  • STAX SR-207

DAC/amps:
  • Geek Out 1000
  • OPPO HA-2 beta testing unit

Amps:
  • Objective 2 (I might or might not bring this depending how how many people are interested in hearing it)
  • STAX SRM-252S

I've also got a bunch of new music to listen to, mostly DSD tracks from Blue Coast Records and Native DSD since the sales reps and engineers there have been really transparent about how they make and/or obtain their music.

My first meet was here last year. I remember there being a limited number of tables. If that's the case again I'll just bring my headphones and dap. Currently have the Hifiman HE-6, LFF's Enigma, Beyerdynamic DT-880.

Don't worry about the tables I will inquire about those before the meet..

Hey! I'm moving to Seattle Dec. 1! I even believe my temporary housing is close to the library in West Seattle.

I'm new to these events, but it would be fun to see other cool stuff. If I go, I may try to bring my LCD-3s and HD-650's, along with the SR71A amp and the AK 120 I DAP.

There is a really good chance I'll make it.
Especially since I live just a very few blocks away.

But if things work out (as in it should arrive this friday 11/21) I should have a Ragnarok available.

I'll need a DAC and digital source to hook up to, but at least the amp can make an appearance.

Trying to disassemble my whole setup would be a major PIA, but I can yank the Rok off the pile without creating a ruckus.

So if anyone wants to 'front end me'
biggrin.gif

we'll have some ROK'n action…

I just can't bring myself to calling it the Rag…

Look forward to it.  Have been wanting to get some better gear, but hesitant to jump without listening to some first.  Bought one of those bit-heads years ago and was completely underwhelmed.  Android 5 is supposed to support USB audio out, so should allow one to focus on the downstream bits.
