I narrowed my original list down but am still undecided between the SE215 or TS02.  I've read every review I can find but I'm still not sure which would be best.  SE215 sounds great for the replaceable cable, but I'm also nervous they may be tiring to wear all day if wearing while working at the computer (listening while writing code at work).  Also a bit nervous about if they'll fit well in my ears.  SE215 would be about 109 locally with tax for the clears (or order the black ones), or I can get the TS02 for $80 shipped free from TS themselves and for the price point I'm in the $30 savings is tempting.  Thoughts?

I don't want to hijack your thread, but I'm wondering the same. I'm looking at the new RE400 Waterline as well, but I can't seem to get anyone to come up with some advice. Good luck with your choice!

I believe if isolation is not an issue, the RE-400 will be a better choice, not sure about TS02. BTW, I originally wanted to get the SE215 but after quite a bit of research here I decided otherwise. Other better rated IEM's are as follows:
 

• Vsonic GR07BE (a bit expensive)
• TDK BA200
• T-Peos H-100 (I got this as this can be worn cable down)
• Rockit R-50

 
The replaceable cable doesn't mean it will last longer. Generally non-replaceable cables tend to last longer. The weak link of replaceable cables are the connector pins which becomes weak after repeated use and that cannot be replaced.

Other better rated IEM's, is that compared to the 215 or the RE-400? And do you have any knowledge about the MS-01?

That was in comparison with SE215. The Re-400 is rated higher than SE215. Shure is a big player but the SE215 are quite dated compared to the above mentioned. Though that might not mean much, it's worth it to note that a lot of reviews written about the SE215 that I found were quite old and had good reviews. That's why I originally planned to get the SE215 but when I see newer reviews comparing the above to the SE215, invariably the SE215 loses. I have no knowledge about the MS-01, sorry.

btw, my T-Peos H-100 has a very V shaped signature and is not really my preference. The treble extensions are great and so is the soundstage but it has little mids (this is after 20 hours burn-in only) It is a dual driver BA & Dynamic and the first 'Golden Ear' certified IEM's. They cost about the same or about $10 more than SE215 and more than RE400.
 
If you don't like a V shaped signature, you won't like the H-100. Probably I should have auditioned the RE400, BA200 etc. I assume RE-400 will be better in the mids. Best if you can compare them in your country because these were not available for auditioning in my country so that you don't make the same mistake I made.

Many reviews I read mentions that RE-0 signature is very similar to RE-400 with RE-400 rated even higher in SQ. Maybe since you already know that signature you could audition the others just to make sure these will be the best choice.

Yeah the only thing I noticed about the RE-0's were that they weren't as much in your face as I like, I think I prefer a slight "aggression" in my sound. Everything else was perfect.
 
I'm in the same spot as you are, I can't try them out near where I live.

Some people find the BA200's not aggressive also. If you can't audition them, maybe a safe bet will be the GR07BE. if you can up the budget by about USD 30. Haven't really heard anything negative about them so far.

Yeah, but the GR07BE is over-the-ear only, which I don't really like.
 
EDIT: Your making it a lot harder for me haha. They sound like they are really good (GR07), but then it's a 70 dollar difference between the RE-400 and the GR07, question is, is it worth it? And your forced to wear them over the ear?

If I were in your shoes and don't like over the ear (like me), I would just get the RE-400 especially if the price difference in $70. That's the reason I got the H100. It's difficult to judge between them when auditioning is not an option and both of them has good reviews.
 
The additional $70 you save buying the RE-400 then can be used to get an AMP/DAC like Fiio E07k or something similar, imho.

Hmmm found this re400 you guys are talking about. Some people are talking about build quality issues in the reviews? So after hearing the se215 discussion it sounds like I'm looking at the ts02 for now.

I just read Joker's review of the TS-02. The IEM's look good but the review was done 3 years ago. What I noted was the SQ is compared to models like Ety MC5 etc which in ClieOS's rating are around 3.5/5 in SQ whereas even the SE215 and all the other models listed here has SQ of 4.5/5 and above. RE-400 is 4.75/5. Maybe that is something to consider.
 
On the other hand, the H-100 had a rating even higher than the RE-400 at 4.83/5 but not really the SQ I liked.
 
The construction of the TS02 also looks very similar to RE400.

Hmm, well I think I found something new that may really push me to the TS02.  It's $60 sold/shipped by Amazon right now vs. $100 MSRP or $80 from TS directly.  I'm pretty sure they were running $80 on Amazon a week ago too.
