I honestly apologize. I get names mixed up, I am thinking Justin from headamp because of my recent relations with him. Your Jason, my mistake.

I wonder, how many people use part of their REAL first name or LAST name in their username, and if it's blended with other stuff, how did they decide what to blend their real name with?

Nah, I just feel bad. I think I must had said at the last meet 10 times I'm bad with names. Even now, I probably can't even decifer my moms friends names from eachother, even though they've been around my whole life.

I still wonder what connects you to that Austrian city, though...

Greetings from Hannover!

Manfred / lini

P.S.: My real me is lini, Manfred just happens to be my first name...

P.P.S.: JaGWiRE: I suggest an edit to "decipher my mum's friends' (...) each other" and less thoughts about suits.

I'd suggest to wear a white NASA overall instead, if you want to make an unusual fashion statement.

Conceded, being at your age, it's quite understandable and normal that you want to individualize your personality...

Hehe, your the only one who hasn't really gone offensive on me. Good to know that it's not unnormal to want to individualize myself.

Graz is a direct extract from my last name (Grasela). People often think it's Italian or Hispanic, but it's actually Austrian/Polish...the spelling is not actually correct, it's one of those Ellis Island hacks from when my great-grandfather emigrated to the US. Anyway, sometime around high school, my friends just started calling me Graz for short...and for some reason it stuck.

Peace,

Graz

Mine was intended as a joke. It underrates my IQ.

I used it when YAHOO was in it's infancy. Never thought I would stay at Head-Fi so I used it.

I prefer NERN, a childhood nickname, but it's always taken on sites. I think that its a real German name.

This is exactly why we named my son with carefully chosen names. Using his first and middle names alone, there are at least 7 common nicknames for him to work with, maybe more.
