It's rigged for red, it means business! (All the ex and current Navy guys will know what I mean):

That's an LED Littlelite on the red setting.

And thanks for the birthday greetings!

    Thanks!

I already had a pair of 650's, and they were great, but my current obsession is the Beyerdynamic DT-880's.

I will be ordering a pair of custom 600 ohm 880's in the next couple of days.

Looks very, cool. I have yet to revisit vinyl. Talk about full circle.[IMG]

    Ex submariner? RSRD????

If it wasn't a birthday present, it should have been. Awesome beauty. Is the sound as good as they say? Any comparos?

Oh, happy birthday. I am jealous.

Not to intrude on the op's topic, but having heard a scoutmaster myself, the sound is definitely as good as they say [IMG] Around the $2K mark, you can get really killer sound from a TT.

No, it wasn't a birthday present, I've had it a couple of months now.

    The sound is spectacular!

Good digital is good, but good analog trumps!

    You said it!

Now this one is a bit more that $2k, but it's baby brother, the Scout is really great and goes for around $1600 or so. But don't forget you'll need a phono stage also.

I've added a couple of options, you can see the TNT Center weight, and if you look closely you can see the periphery ring clamp stowed under the TT.

Wow, wish I could see that through the scope at PD! It is much sexier than watching the pannel sitting COW [IMG]
