My only Sennheiser at the moment is the HD 560s so I'll give that a go at some point. But my Stabilized Atrium Open will get the first crack on the Valhalla 3. I might end up getting an HD600/650/6XX at some point again if I really like the Valhalla 3. Thanks, hopefully my post won't be all over the place.
I already moved the Vali 3 to the listening chair setup in preparation. Yet I still need to free up my Bifrost 2 from the living room setup to pair with the Vali 3. Yeah... I tend to move things around a lot.
Yeah they work really well for this use case, and I currently have four of them, but the most recent ones have plastic legs now.I use the same stands.
Edit: I will most likely buy another one to put over the Valhalla 3 so that I can keep my stand for my Atrium Open above it. The legs will have to be extended a notch or two to allow for the heat dissipation though.

If the Valhalla 3 can drive my planars and HD-600 very well, than my Rag 2 and BHCs might well be gone. Awaiting commentary.
The only HD-6xx series I have is the HD-660s, but I will be hooking that up as well.

I've been using my Vahalla 2 forever and never felt the need for a change. But maybe I might reconsider now.
I think I've talked myself into the Valhalla 3. Sold my euforia to purchase a sus but still want an otl amp in my lineup. Also I bet it would be a nice pre for my pietus maximus.
We have all had nearly a whole year to talk ourselves into a Valhalla 3.
Since it is supposed to play nice with both Planars and Dynamics I have high hopes for it in my setup.
My Atrium Open and Horizon Open are ready and waiting.
