I think the price is going to be $499.00. Looking forward to your impressions from Canjam.$599 was confirmed if I remember correctly (in the main thread). From early info it will play nice with lower ohm headphones (to a point), but I doubt my 5 ohm SJY headphone will play nice with it. There will be more impressions of it coming from Canjam NYC goers shortly ( I would assume). Release is still a month or so away it would seem.
I unfortunately will not be attending, but others in the main Schiit thread are.

Also, I just checked and Jason in post # 180,445 on page 12030 in the main thread stated that the price of the V3 will be twice of the current V2 price. Super nerdy of me, I know 
Was that when it was listed at $269? The price dropped twice.Ah ok, well I guess we both will be looking for their impressions.

If I remember correctly, I believe it was posted when the price was at the current $249.00.

I assume most of you already saw the post, but it seems that the shipment containing the gear for the Schiit booth got held up in transit, and it most likely won't make it to CanJam NYC. Blind/Deaf Valhalla 3 purchases for all!

So, whilst waiting for Valhalla 3 I have been messing around with new tubes in the Valhalla 2. I usually use 1956 Brimar CV455 KB/FB Triple Mica & Foton 6N6P Gold Grid power tubes - this is an amazing setup that I had been using for a couple of years.
I got some adaptors for 5670 tubes as I had read that MIke Moffat liked the WE396A in Valhalla 2 and I had a few tubes for Vali 3. I have really enjoyed using 1955 WE396A, 1958 GE5670 5 Star 3 Mica Black Plates and 1960 RCA 5670 3 Mica Black Plate tubes. Will also try some 6N3P-DR, 6N26P and RCA 12AU7 tubes at a later date.
Right now, I probably think that my favourite are the RCA 5670, just over the WE396A and the Brimar CV455. Using these with Custom Can modded HD6XX and Focal Elex. Feeling justified in getting matched pairs as spares
