Fortunately, no-one is paying any attention !k, no more impressions until after I get mine, please and thank you. I'm not sure I can take anymore ...![]()
So I just received my Mjolnir today and I am quite impressed. Great energy, dynamics, and soundstage. Thoroughly enjoying it so far. My issue is I am working on desktop organization and found it would be much more beneficial to have my Bifrost/Lokius stacked over the Mjolnir. Heat being a possible problem, I decided to elevate the stack, with speaker isolation feet, on top of Mjolnir giving about 1.5 inches of clearance. Wondering if there is any issue with that weight being localized to one side of the amp or is the chassis rigid/stable enough? Possible silly question but my ocd/anxiety are gnawing at me.
Vertically.I want this, now I just gotta see if i can make space for it on my desk. Already have my jot 2 and bifrost 2 but those are pretty small.
I'd be scared I would tip it over somehow. I just need to see what I need to remove.Vertically.
Yeah, I guess it’s safer with Yggdrasil sized chassis (thicker) or Bifrost (not as tall)…I'd be scared I would tip it over somehow. I just need to see what I need to remove.
Could you explain this analogy? Do you mean there’s a lot of hiss? I’m trying to imagine a plastic ball going 100mph, but that doesn’t give me a clue to what you meant here, haha.ZMF Auteur open back, 300 ohm, moderate sensitivity, sounds like Nolan Ryan throwing a wiffle ball. Not bad, just different than I'm used to hearing ZMF. XLR.
The individual notes seem to hit faster and leave quicker, and are more distinct from other notes and other instruments -- in space and in time -- than I am used to hearing ZMF. Of course it could be I'm expecting this from solid state and exaggerating how strong this effect is.Could you explain this analogy? Do you mean there’s a lot of hiss? Music sounds gorgeous on this thing. More liquid, with less STUFF between the ear drum and the notes.
