I am getting D7ks and LCD2s later this year and have been looking at amps. The lyr is said to be amazing with the LCD2s,but won't work with the D7ks because of the power of the lyr. Can that be safely (not sacrificing sound quality) changed with an impedance adapter?

Thanks in advance.

I have a Lyr with a D7k. There is a noise a hum or something similar. It does not bother me much but I can see how it might as it does bother me with certain tracks. I like the bass response with the Lyr.

Lyr output impedance is quite low already. Less than 1 ohm I think. Impedance wise should be no problem with denons. Its the high gain and power of Lyr that is problematic with denons. What you are looking for may be some kind of signal attenuator between source and amp.
I have denons and Lyr as well. But I usually use denons with asgard.
