I have been in and out of the headphone thing for about two years. I get in and then lose interest and sell everything and move on. Then I buy all new stuff get excited and then sell it and start all over. This latest iteration is the Schiit Jotenheim and MrSpeakers Ether Flow. What a great combination. I like my headphone amp sans DAC. I take an output directly from my Ayre integrated so I have access to all my source components. I have been searching for "the" headphones for a while now and think I have found the best of everything I had been looking for in the Ether Flow. Great sound and light and easy to wear. I wanted to like the Audeze but they are just too heavy on the head. I loved the Sennheiser HD800S but found it to be un-involving. I have owned lots of headphone amps but the Schiit is the (well you know what I was going to say) :).

Anyway this is my first post. Can't believe I never joined here before.
