Finnegan trying to look like he is king of the jungle next to the woods beyond my property.🐈‍⬛

That is his 1,000 mile stare.😉

Can't remember the name at the moment, but it was a nitro English pale ale. The beer I used to get at the place below was Wells Bombardier, but they stopped carrying it.

The Dandelion (Dandy Lion) is a GREAT name for a pub!

Was feeling a bit left out with all the booze talk. Luckily NA beer does not suck these days!

I expected to see a Homer bobblehead or Bort license plate in the room.

For what it's worth: There's absolutely no reason to wait. I've listened to "cold" Mimirs dozens upon dozens of times over the past few months of working on it, and it always sounded just as good to my ears as it does after a while of warming up.

That whole "but Mike said that you need to let your Yggy warm up for a few hours or even days to sound the best" thing isn't a thing anymore. For one, it only ever actually applied to the Analog Devices-based Multibit DACs. Whether it still applies to the TI-based ones is arguable, but I'd say that it doesn't. And Mimir is an ESS-based delta sigma DAC to begin with, entirely different tech.

So, why perpetuate nervosa if it doesn't actually add any value? I'd much rather enjoy that Schiit.

Just my two cents. To each their own, of course. 😇
Please keep busting the myths, aka posting from experience 👍

On my last trip to Yosemite before the move to Texas, I hiked along the north part of Valley Loop Trail, roughly at Devil's Elbow. Coming around a corner, I found myself looking straight into the eyes of a grizzly MF'ing huge bear, sitting by the trail maybe 50 yards ahead of me, watching the river.
I'm glad to have experienced something like that.
I'm elated to live to tell the tale.
I'm eager to have this remain a one time thing.
Had this exact same experience in the Wind River Range but with a female moose in the middle of calving season. Even scarier.

Very good sipping gin. Not to disparage your chosen method of imbibing, just that not all gins are good sippers.

Edit to add to @Ableza's mention of American Single Malt: Westward is good, Westland is better, and the now-sadly-defunct Wanderback was best.

Wanderback out of Hood River didn't survive the pandemic but they made the best ASM I've had yet. I will miss them for a long time.
If you get a chance try Shanahan’s single malt whiskey.
Diamond peak version finished in rum casks. Sipping it now.😜

When I change out turntable parts I am reminded of a scene in The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. Tuco (Eli Wallach) goes into a gun store and changes out parts of various six shooters till he has his own perfect model. A great example of knowing what you want and making it work.😜
One of the great examples of how small details can really elevate a film. Such a good scene!

Tuco may have been 'The Ugly' but he was nobody's idiot.

I watch a great number of movies and certain scenes stay with me. The opening sequence of White Men Can’t Jump, celebrating a cold beer in The Shawshank Redemption, soldiers entering Omaha beach in Saving Private Ryan. Et alia
