I've had this Sheffield Lab Direct to Disc LP for almost 40 years and still sounds amazing!

** And I just now saw that they suggest reversing polarity between speakers and amp. 🤣

Well, hell. Since when has 'Perfectly Satisfactory Playback' been acceptable to an audiophile!! :D

** Next... Working my way through my MFSL collection - starting with Supertramp - Crime of the Century.

So I should remove the HiFi Tuning Silver fuse and Hudson HiFi rubber feet if I send my Lyr 3 in for service? 😕

🤣

Maybe. It might go missing on the way (or just be swapped out as part of troubleshooting and not be put back in)...

Good point. That $15 fuse may be far too tempting. :smirk:

With those Mundorffs, the addes bypass is really not needed, they are great sounding caps. To me the aluminum/oil Mundorffs sound better than the gold foil/oil Mundorffs.
Curious: Why did you add the chassis ground wire?
I used those when I repaired my old Dynaco PAS-4

Shush, but I agree...! 🫣

Didn't feel the need to mod my Saga at all though. My chain still sounded better across the board with the unmodified Saga OG than without it. No sins of commission with the Saga in the chain, just full sonic improvements

FedEx is telling me Valhalla 3 will arrive on Sunday, but... will they really attempt to deliver it on a Sunday?! 🤔

Why would Sunday be any different than any other day for FedEx? That question is applicable Monday - Saturday as well. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
