Btw Happy St. George Day. For those Anglophiles...

Wow, that's incredible! Both the cabinet and the sculpture. Bravo, beautiful work! After 2+ years in part-time development I delivered this sculpture stand to my sister. It supports a hefty Venetian glass sculpture.
It’s made of walnut and ebony trim.
The front piece is made of wiggle wood (bendable plywood) and veneer vacuum formed to a shaped form.
I then vacuum pressed walnut veneer onto the front and back.
Working with curves is a journey of discovery.

I thought they are now referred to as 'Freedom Fries'?... ?? ... how could one have Cabernet Sauvignon without French fries? ...
Weird. I have left the Rag 2 on for 3+ months straight, no issues.I too have been very satisfied with Ragnarok 2! I did have an issue of overheating and going into protection mode a couple of times but this happened after I had left it on for over a week.![]()
Since then I shut it off every night and have had no further problems.
I really like the clean, detailed sound quality. It matches well with my GR Research X-SLS towers.
Dunno! I never touch the stuff these days so my knowledge of booze is limited to what I hear through the grapevine (pun intended)Is Davis Bynum still around? Fond memories of touring that vineyard.
https://mix108.com/i-lived-in-the-smelliest-minnesota-town-you-wont-believe-it/ I lived in Grand Forks (across the Red River from East Grand Forks) and when the wind was blowing a certain direction the smell wafted into Grand Forks and our home. As my Norwegian grandmother would exclaim: "Uff da!"Interesting. When "they" are harvesting sugar cane, it fills the air with a caramel scent.
Woot, woot! I have a forkbearded Wotan and Freya+ (because, well, you know, tubes) and it's fantastic. Hope you enjoy your pairing too.WotanF and KaraF on the way!
Hope you enjoy the Kara F. I'm enjoying mine.WotanF and KaraF on the way!
If only they actually looked like that, might be worthwhile. You mean this?

I’d get the Wotan, frankly. One, it has FB (as does your DAC and, with Kara when it arrives), two, not sure your BMR’s need the extra bit of ooomph… to me (thinking, no experience obviously) the only possible benefit would be the “infinite” channel separation… Obviously, there may be sonic differences. Remember Tyr’s mean twice the mass to move around… <grin> (he says remembering the “project” to ceiling mount my 60# Classe’ DR9 in the basement 7 feet up in the air)… (but you’ve no basement…)Out back door is 140 yards away from an authentic Indian Restaurant that goes heavy on spices. Very good thing we love that place, because it gets thick at times.
In the next week an order will be placed to Schiit - but still debating what it will be. Kara for sure. But two Tyrs or Wotan.... Anyone compare Wotan to Tyrs care to opine?
Funny enough I just ate the spoof of that burger at Chili's (QP Burger). They could, I suppose. Somewhere. Just not at Mickey Ds.

God damn it, for some reason I thought the announcement was coming on Tuesday... I've been refreshing since yesterday
