Ask, and ye shall receive…..OK, hear me out:
1 AWG welding wire for power cables, speaker cables, AND interconnects.
Oops - sorry I meant best, not pest... that's pretty solid.I have more than some, less than others. I have also given in excess of 500 tubes away and sold a large group of 1963 Melz at cost to help others.
... Limit n --> (BUn)^(BUn+1) ... ...With two dozen backups. Not sure how many backups for the backups though...
THAT's THEM! Those are the aluminum cables - must have been from Mal's high tech buddies !!Ask, and ye shall receive…..
Do we KNOW each other and were you in MY listening sessions with friends when we originally got/built these cables of mine? Because you are literally describing what I built (Using Stratus Computer chassis ground cable… lots of strands, flexible, white sheath… 2guage… right down to the pure copper Edison Price binding post replacement on my Apogees…My pals and I tried 0 and 2 gauge welding wire and it was atrocious. Confused sound stage - epically so.
The best wire in ABX (not level matched) we all agreed was an aluminum 2 ga mini computer cable ground wire that had at least 250 strands and was super flexible in a simple white plastic sheath - with pure copper lugs of the type in your pic - this was against stuff like Kimber 8TC, Cardas (various 'Golden section' versions, AQ, MIT, and others). Since depending on env, placement (yes on vs over concrete floors - try it), amp(s), and speakers, results tend to fluctuate with speaker cables I went the way of room tuning/improvment which is predictable and repeatable. I use 'Blue Jeans' cable now and never vex over it. I also found similar issues with SE interconnects - varying and unrepeatable results. XLR cables seem far less susceptable to this sort of thing - so its been balanced for more than this millennium - except when its not possible.
Yep… My IRL name is Dave Wagner… me clearly must have crossed paths… you?THAT's THEM! Those are the aluminum cables - must have been from Mal's high tech buddies !!
Know that exact place, can’t remember the name. Last I knew I think Watch City Brewing is in that location now (I stopped working in Waltham in 2007; moving to Texas in 2018). Last at Il Cappricio would have been in 2007. Took a Gartner Analyst to dinner after we did an in depth briefing. Remember that we had a Helen Turley Reserve Zinfandel and a Poggio Antico Brunello. (There were two others with us).
Looks like a UK version of the Auratone line.
It looks like you have achieved moderation, because anything more would have been excessive.Ask, and ye shall receive…..
True, those pieces of cardboard are not cognoscenti approved - should be at least teak if not some ZMF tropical wood - hand rubbed with Tung oil - then dried with raw linen !It looks like you have achieved moderation, because anything more would have been excessive.
