I've been eyeing this, just wish it had balanced output, but I can make do without.
Then find yourself a nice Mjolnir 2 on the used market. Scary good.

I never mind sharing good whiskey but if I opened that Blending House up to peeps on here there'd be nothing left to bottle! 🤪
I dont know about that, but, I bet we could work over a barrel pretty well.

Hello,

I'm new in this thread and would be thankfull for some advice on Schiit Jotunheim R. My main concern is to make 115v JotR usable in 230v network. Has someone experiences with voltage transformers or voltage change repair in Jotunheim R. Thanks!

Welcome, Majuto.

No one here will tell you how to modify your Jotunheim R. Please don't even try. Your best and safest bet will be finding a properly wired and rated external step-up transformer. It will be ugly. It will be expensive. OTOH, you, family, pets, and belongings won't be at risk.

Other than that, feel free to stick around.

Altough not directly mentioned on the site, I think Schiit can rewire it for you. Ask them at info@schiit.com, I think they’ll be happy to help.

Thanks, I had a bad first experience with transformer, but JotR's power switch seems to be suspiciously loose too. The repair itself only for pro audio service of course. And that surely isn't so easy. I live in Finland, no official Schiit anything here.

A week now visiting the grandkids. Went into arrears on this thread, finally caught up. In time to leave Saturday for family holiday in Wales. Expecting to get behind again.

Yes, Asgard 2 and HiFiMan, Grado and many others as mentioned.

I am old school also and do not cotten to two volume controls in a chain. Maybe I should reconsider.

More tubes, too many discussed that I do not own.

Son and I went out to a pub for Tim Taylor draft and football. Home team “Leeds” won 3 - 1. This is serious stuff here.

Just made family recipe pimiento cheese with 4 & 1/2 year old granddaughter.

Four adults going out tonight, sitter with kids 😀

Decided to treat myself to a new Vali as reward for being grandad.

Live long and whatever….

Looks like all y’all are fixin to copy New Englanders when we get a Nor’ Easter blizzard (like we’re having NOW, unfortunately).

Based on current weather models (check out Pivotalweather.com for the best models), it looks like all that food will have been hoarded in vain; Texas is looking pretty cloudy, alas.

You wouldn't be asking this if you'd ever had a fried peanut butter and nanner sandwich. :D
