As someone living in Alabama, white sauce BBQ is nowhere to be found in LA - its all seafood down here, especially when the bay has a jubilee.
I think Tuscaloosa has the famous spots.

Too (far too) late. Near as I can tell that “run” happened around 2 years ago, we’re just getting to what’s left of the “dregs”, as it were… sorta like finding old cobwebby muscle cars in abandoned barns at this point, alas.
If the BT is Out, try Yellowstone Select. Recommend highly.

What's up guys - what would be a good headphone to go along with a Magni Unity (with dac)? This is for a gift so keeping the price low is a consideration.
Sennheiser HD560 or Grado SR80x depending on 🎧 listener

There's some pretty good BBQ out here in Chino.
Joey's on Riverside Drive.
Not bad at all.
Oddly, Salty’s in Bakersfield, too. We’ve got some killer food here (darn good thing, since the weather SUX).

I've been paying her tuition (no loans), books, car, insurance, cell phone, internet, and giving her an allowance for 4 years now and off-campus apartment rent for 3 years. All she has to pay is meals, electricity, and gas for the car. She's transferred twice and with each transfer credits didn't carry-over, so classes had to be retaken. No real sense of urgency so I had to draw the line. Will I help out post-college? Sure. But I ain't telling her that! :D
You, sir, operate the same way we do. BS was on us, MPH she has loans for, terminal degree is fully funded. We still help with stuff, but sporadically… What you do is… right. We try to do the same!

Good grief. Perhaps you should go to college with your daughter. 🤣
You mean: “perhaps your daughter should pay for you to go back to college?”

Regarding college eduction today, Cynthia and I have some real hands on regarding the lives and challenges of students....

We have a local community college, along with several trade schools in our area. Cynthia runs an increasingly successful dog treat manufacturing business; we're up to about 25 employees - some who are part time college and trade students. We see them struggle with expenses, to the point of food being "optional". Our response is a well stocked lunchroom and constant encouragement to "follow your dream".... We don't see this as a hand out, but a hand up.

What goes around comes around
