the values in between the charted points are numbers, too, they are just undefined numbers. If they all got their integers it would be a smooth sine wave.

Impressive yet when dealing with integers it is more difficult to be smooth I would think.😉 Sorry I have had this argument with one of my son’s professors, his doctorate is in mathematics.

I own it in multiple formats including vinyl and I wholeheartedly agree!😉

While it is still quite early here I am not using power tools today so I am kicking back with a touch oh Noah’s Mill bourbon. A more refined and complex flavor than Rowan’s Creek IMHO, more to my liking and perhaps a tad more vanilla smell and flavor. Neil Young sounds amazing on my system, it goes so well with tube sound.
Glad that you find Noah's Mill enjoyable. It is one of my go-to standbys.

Vali 3 review
Round 3

Since the last round went so well I went back to the stock tube and kept Saga + w/LISST in the chain. It’s clear to me that the Vali’s pot is not the greatest for the signal.

Are you using Saga + in LISST gain, or passive mode? The true test for the Vali's pot would be Saga in passive mode in front of it, rather than a gain stage.

Ah, but what about outegers? They are an integral part of the "C Wave"...

I tried both and could barely tell them apart. Both were noticeably better than the pot in Vali. As they should be.

Makes me want to swap Vali 3 for my Magni Piety and bypass its pot. You know… for fun.

I've done the same with Piety and Freya-N without much benefit. There are variations in those smaller pots for sure. I exchanged my first Piety for another due to having a noisy pot, and the replacement was a vast improvement.

Today’s listen is on 180 gram vinyl thanks to @Godaisan. A two record set of Neil Young.IMG_7634.jpeg
And another Neil Young that is excellent in all aspects:

The Aladdin and the Schnitzer are two of my favorite places. Haven't been to either in way too long...
Same. I need to change this fact soon. I've been jonesing for an Oregon Symphony concert for a while now.

A friend of mine from Bend, causally mentioned this place yesterday.

Are you familiar with this shop?

His custom work shown at the bottom of the page has got me drooling!

Very much so, I believe someone local had the three types of Willets shipped to me, I believe she is after a specific item I built that I was keeping for myself lol. I had been working with a hardwood that is $500 per cubic foot (12 board feet).
