9400 pages now (only 600 more to go).
on pace to reach 10,000 "magic" pages on 5/15...but my guess is 4/27/24. @Rensek that's why newer phones have 128GB base memory...just checked my phone and IOS17.x.x is just a hair under 11GB. and "10 cup" coffee makers...
@Ohno Schiitizen glad you like your heckuva deal Aegir (OG). Also, audio power is logarithmic (100W vs. 50W is -3dB, and 100W vs. 25W is -6dB)
I have some vintage (40s, 50s, 60s) Fire King and Pyrex coffee cups. They are small, about 6-8 ounces each.
My Bunn coffee maker is a 10 cup'r.... I should see how many cups I can get using the vintage cups, allowing room for cream and a cube of sugar of course...
My favorite Balvenie. The right proof, the right age, non chill filtered, natural color, no sherry cask influence, and the price is still relatively affordable. My wife bought me a bottle for valentines day. was 82 bucks plus tax... it was 54 bucks at the same store 3 years ago.....(damn inflation/price gouging)

The 14 year Balvenie caribbean cask is in the same price range, and is quite tasty, but the 12 yo double oak just cant compete. IMO, at least.
I have some of the Balvenie peat week expressions, and they are also quite nice, if you like peated scotch.
I have two of the 17 year french oaks as well, but haven't opened one yet.. Life the past few years has not been chill enough to properly enjoy a pour from one of them.
When I drink Balvenie, I like to have tunes on, preferably 2ch/speakers, with nothing else to do, and if it takes me less then an hour to finish a dram I consumed it way too fast...

Peat Week is yummy. It shows Balvenie knows peat, even though it's not something they specialize in.
I have a hard time not drinking any special bottles I get. I have absolutely no idea when I'm punching out on my Earth shift in this lifetime. I would truly lament undrank whiskey. IMO
Sorry to derail from this excellent music, but the title pulled me to another track called "The Ripper" - Track Two from Judas Priest's second album (a classic!), "Sad Wings Of Destiny"
If you have not heard this album - Well worth a listen if you have even a passing interest in Heavy Metal
