"Just when you thought it couldn't get any uglier!" 😜

My latest Ian Canada streamer iteration. Now with ultracapacitor power supply, individual u.fl connectors for all i2s signals, and display/controller. Back on the pi5. Definitely sounds different than the pi4 (compared both in previous iteration).

LOL my wife makes these gorgeous ramen bowls, the are usually bright red with etching. Are you in the continental US? We are looking for a project we can do together, I was thinking of bowls for taco ingredients, possibly a large lazy susan.
My wife would love such a thing. We have some "acceptable" ones we got from HomeGoods made of melamine, maybe?

I'd love to see what your wife and you would do with that as an inspiration. Would be tough to beat the triceratop and other dinosaur ones...

Or having films you saw when they came out show up on the classic movie channel...
The really tough-to-swallow thing are the ones that tanked and were excoriated when they came out and that are now lauded as seminal and game-changing.

Or the really terrible ones that get remade into high budget concept movies, like Little Shop of Horrors (with an unforgettable performance by Jack Nicholson....)

Made a stop by Total Wine and More for a bar restock and this found its way into my cart. :smirk:

** What's a guy have to do to get a bottle of their Sloe Gin??

That is one of my top three favorite things we make. I love botanical day, when the distillers are prepping the botanicals for maceration for this and for Absinthe. SMELLS SO GOOD!

What really makes me feel old is the realization that as much time has passed since I waited 6 hours in line for The Phantom Menace tickets as had passed from the original 1977 Star Wars release before that. Dang.

As Ms Jody points out to me; 1970 is as far away today (well a couple years ago) as 1918 was to 1970............

Sorry I was talking ramen bowls as well as bowls for onions, tomatoes, cilantro etc. not taco holders.🤪

The tray on my Urd seems to have failed. Hadn't used it in a few weeks and now will not eject without me tilting the unit, will not fully close unless I push it shut, and doesn't read CDs. Anyone have similar issues?
Mine just came back from Schiit. Same-ish symptoms. Wouldn’t eject, had a drive r&r, working fine now.

Your opinions on the flavor are welcomed.

Part of Buffalo Trace I do believe, @sixergixer is better able to describe it I bet. I can only pick out a slight peppery aftertaste and a bit of sweetness. Quite smooth IMHO for 100 proof BIB compared to some I have had.
Well my opinions on bourbon should not really be welcomed, I'm but a neophyte on that front. But the answer is that it is fantastic, and markedly smoother than the nice Wyoming bottle I previously thought was great.

I will soon have glasses to go in here....
