OMG!

I'm betting the same guy installed the outlets? 🤣

I hope that's photoshopped? Or, maybe those are the drains as there are outlets freaking right there, inches to the left...!

So, I need to say thank you. I'm currently listening to the Valhalla 2 as preamp to the Rekkr. I had been thinking about getting the adaptor to try my HE6SEV2 with the Vidar, but, the Rekkr drives them really well. It may better with them than the Jot 2.
So, I just listened to the HE6SEV2 on the Jot2. I feel the Rekkr/Valhalla combo is a little brighter, but in a way that works, but I think I still prefer the Jot 2. Still very good tho. It is massively dependant on headphones tho. The Elex were meh, the Arya were pretty good, the HD6XX are better with Valhalla by itself and the LCD2C were downright horrible. I'm thinking it must be an impedance thing. YMMV. Might play with it a little more.

How about a Hans Zimmer/Mark Knopfler movie score Thunderdome?

Well, one NERVOSA bites the dust -- or does it?

Guys, a small ask: can we try not to turn this thread into troubleshooting central? I mean, let me know if you can't get ahold of support, etc, but I'd really rather not have this be consumed by troubleshooting.

And yeah, I know, I need to post more. Maybe a chapter on Aegir 2 this week. Also some more new content soon. Just busy right now.
Your sandbox, your rules…

But, I say this respectfully, as someone who quite likes your products and will probably be purchasing more (that office system needs some upgrading), and who generally thinks you offer an unusually high quality/value relationship for any industry, let alone the inflated audio market…

I try to reach out to support for any product only if I can’t figure out what’s up on my own, or by consulting likeminded, more knowledgeable folks in real life or on-line. My general theory is that customer facing employees deal with enough dumb stuff that if I can avoid adding to the pile, I will. There are people here with more experience and knowledge than me, and if they can help keep the load off CS employees, that feels like a good thing…

But again, your sandbox, your rules.

Oh and by the way, I'm listening to a headphone output we just threw into an upcoming product as a "convenience outlet." You know, like Kara. And seriously, this is crazy good. Of course I am biased. But it does get me wondering where the floor is these days. Certainly much higher than when we started in 2010!

headphone output on the toilet paper rolls would be convenient and awesome.

He did a great version of the Beatle's Day in Life on his last album, and it seems he'd never even heard the original.
The cover on that album was hard to take, though. Just looking at that ashtray was enough to make you cough.
I’m not a huge fan of the stuff post ‘65 or thereabouts; no doubt he could still play, and that thumb picking style is still sweet, but it got a little too Lite Jazz for me there.

But any vinyl I find from about Bumpin’ or before is an instant purchase if condition is reasonably good.

Too bad he passed so young, would have been curious to see where we went next.

I've been unsuccessful in my attempts to find a compatible speaker for desk/ tabletop placement. Everyone suggests the Klipsch but they're placement suggestions clearly indicate they aren't designed as bookshelf or desktop speakers. I'm extremely picky about my music, speaker placement is often more important than just about anything else. A great set of speakers improperly placed can be smoked by a mediocre pair with proper placement. Proper 2 channel beats the pants off of surround sound for music with proper speaker placement. Eventually I intend to purchase some Polk bookshelf speakers to pair with a Rekkr because I think they'll probably be fine for near field listening at the desk. If you find something small enough to fit on desk that aren't crazy expensive with unrealistic placement recommendations I am extremely interested.
How about a pair of DALI On-walls? They work great for me with a single Aegir 1. Got a pair open-box from AA in Grand Rapids for less than $500...

Oberon?

I am also thinking about an Aegir 1 for my Dali 4 ohms, 86dB small bookshelf ( Opticon 1 MKII ) ..... dunno if it works well or not.

Now I am wildly speculating it is an integrated amplifier.
