The postings about the page count are an example of why I keep coming back.
I wasn't even trying, and by the time I read several posts of people trying to be the first and figured out what ya'll were posting about, I missed it by 4 minutes.
Well, I have another chance in another 1111 pages, OR even better, in 1112 pages.

Good luck. It may take a month or two, though.

Personally, I'm waiting for page 80085…
At the current pace (100 pages roughly every 17 days), we will hit that momentous landmark on February 6th, 2057.

5% of all statistics are made up.I used to be on team SPDIF but revisited USB recently and found that it's 5% better than SPDIF for me. More spherical 3D staging at little cost of soundstage depth (it's this area where I find SPDIF still very slightly superior) and equally good dynamics, but the biggest issue for me is that SPDIF is prone to intersample-overs than USB where a track gets too close to 0dBFS, the SPDIF will clip the signal while Unison is perfectly fine without any clipping.
However, for USB to sound great, you MUST have a great DDC or use a DAP or else SPDIF will win easily

So my DAC card in my Jot2 bit the dust. It was the previous version of the Multibit internal dac. It has served me well. I'm thinking about upgrades now that I can't even listen to music without high pitched squeels and hisses. It's headache inducing.
I guess is the route to go sell the Jot2 and go Modius+Midgard or keep the Jot2 and save up for the Bifrost 2/64.
Or I could slim it down even more and the new Magni w/ built in dac. That's probably the most appealing option the three.

JAN 5760 are a cheap, great sounding alternative.Add some 5692 either red or brown base tubes on it and it'll bring magic to your stereo

Nah. Get the Pietus Maximus with the ESS Card instead

True! I used to get the NOS 5692 back in 2016 for 50 bucks each. Can’t believe how crazy these tubes go for these days. I still have a bunch of 5692s in my stash for at least 2 Freyas
