I've been in a hot air balloon at 5,500 feet.

Same. It was quite the experience. Absolutely and perfectly quiet and serene. The closest I think I'll ever get to experiencing the overview effect without actually going to space.

And it’ll only get worse.

I’ve read many reviews that just repeat information from the manufacturer website over and over. Now with AI, I’m afraid the first 20 results will be AI “reviews” leaving legit reviewers lost in the shuffle.
It's our own darn fault for wanting everything to be free. This isn't Star Trek, folx :-)

I'm on the Grand Mesa in Colorado my front door is at 7000 feet. Our view of the valley below is breathtaking.
My off grid cabin in Montana is only at 6000 feet, but has a great view of the nearest town, twenty miles away.😎

All of my "experiences" I have written over the years are 1000% not AI related in any way, shape or form...its all from my ancient grey matter good or bad, eloquent or not.
Ai has its place, but not for me writing stuff....thats what writing is all about.

Imagine Jason letting AI write his chapters!!!

Who are these people whom tubes are "on the outs" with? I will fight them.
PM me when you're ready to go. We'll go door to door if need be.

I use a HD-58X when I don't want to use IEMs ... works OK on my iBasso DC03Pro, which isn't very powerful. Can you still get the HD-58X from Drop ??
Think so, even think it's on sale at the moment.

Indeed !!

Speaking for myself, my MJOLNIR 2 will probably be my last tube amp, for as long as it lasts (nearly 7 years already). I have 3 pairs of long-life NOS tubes left, so that should see me through.

Quality, relatively affordable SS amps are so good now !
Long-life NOS. 5670s or 396As?
