I had that same wood stand and stuff in slots many decades ago but for some reason I keep thinking my Zersotat was red.
Why would you think that? Early ‘80s.

I’m liking this mostly for your taste in books. “Never Let Me Go” is one of my favorites. 🙂
i haveseveral ishiguro’s up there. That one’s a treasure, though. Signed first edition. One of my favourites! If you like that, give Arturo Perez-Reverte a try. The Club Dumas is a good start.

You should see the rest of his collection. Here's hoping he won't ask me to help him and the better three quarters with their next move… 🤞🏻😬
Nothing to see here, folks…. Move along, move along…

ZeroStat is a wonderful audio accessory essential. Call me 🤪: I use it on CDs as well as on EPs, LPs.
So you had nothing better to do last night than sit there with a can opener on a new can of worms? :scream:

Speaking of Texas Rangers, the Nolan Ryan documentary -Facing Nolan , was epic! If anyone hasn’t seen it, it’s worth checking out.
I saw him pitch with the Angels in Anaheim a couple times. He was scary fast.

So, the "measurement guy" failed to understand the entire purpose of Midgard's Halo topology. Finally, a Schiit product he could actually obsess over and measure to his heart's content, and yet the whole thing flies right by him. In fact, he seems to actually think that the 4-pin XLR socket is a balanced headphone out.

Shocker… 🙄

I'll take your word for it but Amir isn't getting any clicks outta me.

A Keith Jarrett and Simon Rattle collaboration would be humm-ongous!
An even better dream team:

Keith Jarrett, Glenn Gould, piano
Simon Rattle, Conductor
Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra

Program:
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Concerto for Two Pianos K. 365
Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Concerto for Two Pianos in A-flat Major
Francois Poulenc, Concerto for Two Pianos in D-minor F61

By the end of that performance, all the principals will be hoarse.

In short: he didn't test the Halo output with his GRAS. It's just the same battery of measurements as his usual static load headphone amp reviews.
Maybe he doesn't actually know how to properly use that APx and all he knows is how to run that single standard test he pretty much always does… 😈

Edit:
I wrote this as a joke. But honestly, the more I think about it…

Such a clown 🤡

Doesn't matter anyway as Halo 😇 is more about the listening 🎧 experience... which to him is the least important aspect of audio 😂
