yeah I know it’s for headphones. Just a few symbols to the right of the volume I didn’t quite understand.

Yes. What I meant was it's not a surround format preamp like Syn, it's a stereo amplifier. The symbols you mention are likely to do with the flexible topology controls mentioned by Jason or they have to do with input selection. Had to say without the amp being released.

Glad you did. The album with this particular recording is Meltdown - King Crimson Live in Mexico. The album, for me, sets the standard for live performance, audio recording quality of a live performance, and concert video quality.
That 3-drummer King Crimson lineup did some amazing, unique things live!

The song cricket selected, Indiscipline, comes from 1981. Here's the original 4-piece lineup, with Bill Bruford (alone!) on drums. The drum intro to Indiscipline begins at about the 2:30 mark:

@Jason Stoddard

Have you tried using mjolnir 3 as a preamp for tyrs? That's a lot of chokes! Please comment on the sound if you have! I know that's a rule you don't normally break, but this should be an exception lol.
That's the age-old question; how much choking is too much choking…

OK, I'll show myself out… 😇

Love my Vali 2+ so much that I bought a spare.
I will neither deny nor confirm without a lawyer present that I may or may not own two Mjolnir 2s* for the exact same reason.

* Or is it "Mjolnirs 2"? I mean, the correct pluralization of cul-de-sac it culs-de-sac after all, not cul-de-sacs.

I'm sure the manual will suggest the use of a 'safe' word or sign when operating the amp to '50 shades of Schiit' extremes. :smirk:

I can vouch for the the audio quality and excellent musicality of pretty much all of the live output of KC with their 3 drummer lineup since about 2014. I have most of the albums from this period and will parrot @cricket .
