My Ragnarok is at the perfect height to see the LEDs through the balanced headphone output.Sitting on the floor listening last night and saw an interesting view of Freya+ with the LEDs inside visible through the remote input window.

Listening to Brad Mehldau's "Jacob's Ladder" based on Rick Beato's recommendation. WHAT A GREAT ALBUM!!! https://www.allmusic.com/album/jacobs-ladder-mw0003660895
I had that engine in a Vanagon! It had a huge fuel tank and would go forever without filling up, but it did not accelerate, by any reasonable definition of that word.Had a high school buddy with a rabbit. DIESEL rabbit. Something like 38 or mayby 58 HP? Rabbit, as in pre Golf days. But I wasn't much better in a Pontiac Sunfire or something like that. Automatic tranny woundnt always go into drive when cold, which made it fun to back out of driveway and sit in the neighborhood street lightly punching the gas and not going anywhere.

My uncle had a Vanagon. He told me that it was so slow that it would even decelerate if it were driven off a cliff.

WTH!!?? Tube EQ?? My curiosity meter is pegged on this one...
Although I am apprehensive, it does use 2C51 tubes, so...
Not a real tube EQ. Starved plate tubes running off a 12V switcher and a bunch of the cheapest op amps available that day.
A real tube eq costs a bit more than $130...
If you can squeeze the space for a couple mono eqs, a pair of Warm Pultecs with cinemags isn't a bad choice...

A stick shift model was our first car in the US -- that is, the only one we could afford as recent immigrants. Went on some long mountain trips put-putting up the steeper grades, including many to Tahoe (with tire chains) and a glorious round trip from the Bay Area to Portland, OR in late spring, inland going North, then Crater Lake still in deep snow, up to Mount Hood and a stay at Timberline Lodge, swimming the hot thermal pool while it snowed, then down the OR and CA wild coasts, taking a jetboat up the Rogue... That's when I totally fell in love with the Pacific coast, and here we are 40 years later. My wife loved that car, kept driving it even as parts broke off and some windows would not open, finally gave it to a friend of our son's in 2001 when we moved and had no space for it.Had a high school buddy with a rabbit. DIESEL rabbit. Something like 38 or mayby 58 HP? Rabbit, as in pre Golf days.

The diesel Rabbit was 54 hp I think (I can’t remember what I had for lunch yesterday, but recall many hp,torque and 0-60 times of cars from that era). The Sunfire? Those were dark, dark days for GM.Had a high school buddy with a rabbit. DIESEL rabbit. Something like 38 or mayby 58 HP? Rabbit, as in pre Golf days. But I wasn't much better in a Pontiac Sunfire or something like that. Sorry, I should have said temperatures below 373.15 K.+1 I was going to make a similar response to the above, but was beaten to it. I'm not sure we can have any faith in spelling instruction coming from someone who uses flash-in-the-pan units.

You mean you don’t use the ‘A Gnu’ from Flanders and Swann’s ‘At the Drop of a Hat’ to assess equipment?Your opening statement is perfect!
I listen to music that I like because as I have said before, familiarity breeds comfort, not contempt. It is not that I do not try out new (not gnu, LOL!) music but that I do not desire to listen to music I have nothing in common with. But again, your opening statement was perfect.
Thank you for that!
