Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Has anyone run a Saga S with a cassette deck to record? I know there isn’t a tape out, but would the rca out have the same outcome?
I've done it with a digital recorder and it woked ok.

My advice: just make sure you don't also have the output of the cassette deck plugged into the saga S's input when it's setup this way. You might forget what input is selected, hit record, and be in for a nasty feedback loop 🙂

And, the incomparable (Ahem!) Cassandra Peterson as Elvira. (I think I know the guy seated behind her, Indiana Jones?)

I just bought a cheap LED shop light because it is rechargeable and one dark corner of my shop is inconvenient to wire. It has no 120 volt connection, you must charge it from a USB outlet. I foresaw this and was not disappointed. The light also serves as a battery and can (when charged) power cell phones and tablets and whatnot. It will be useful when I go camping, besides in my shop. I was shocked and delighted to see that it comes with both USB A and USB-C outlets/inlets and a USB A to USB C cable. So USB C is descending to the regions of the unwashed masses.

I will not:
1) Try this USB A-C cable in blind or sighted comparisons to other USB A-C cables.
2) Attempt to "clean" any audio signal by using the battery to power an audio device via DC.

But still USB C is proliferating. My only preference for it is that it takes me an average of 3.4 tries to get a USB A connector right side up.

About a year ago I repaired some 25 year old speakers that had the tweeters fall out because the glue gave way, hindsight is 20/20.
Has it been that long?
What did you end up doing with them?

I still have them and I am guessing at the time frame lol. I hope to sell them locally with other gear to help pay for a DAC upgrade. I have a shop full of gear so a pair of speakers means little.🤪🤪

I got in 8 hours of DAC comparisons today and will finish tomorrow. 16 to compare.😁

They do take some labor.

Now I want a McIntosh🤪🤪
Honestly though, I prefer point to point wiring, much more labor intensive and less likely for issues down the road especially when you roll a lot of tubes.
