Jason,

A special thanks to you, Dave, Mike, and all the Texas and California crews for making all this happen.

Many of us will be enjoying some new Schiit products and I cannot wait to see the amazing products that will launch in 2023 and beyond!

They are the original Yggdrasil, hence the big cut.

Lokius looks like it's just a deal--not B-stock. If it says "Black Friday Deal," that's regular A-stock. There's also B-stock and closeout.

With respect to the adapter, if you didn't note it on your order, just contact orders@schiit.com and let them know voltage and plug type, and they'll get you taken care of.

Thanks Jason, I just a got a reply that a 230V UK adapter is being separately shipped to me. Might want to have a way to select voltage/plug type for those folks ordering from the Deals section

Yep, same exact preamp, same passive, same differential buffer, different tubes, different operating point. Sounded good to me. Odd it didn't take off. Ah well, you don't win them all.

Texas worked--voluntarily--Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (and today, LOL). Alex probably would have been there on Thanksgiving if we'd let him. Heck, I've been building products to help keep up with demand (Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday, today.) A breather from dev...and also a nice check-in to see how the chassis changes really ended up. Did they speed up production? Heck yes, in the case of Magni+. Modi+ is a bit fiddly, and needs a couple of adjustments to make things fall into place easier, but also yes. Just a smaller yes. Going from 4 screws on Modi+ to 16 on Lokius is a big shocker, but unfortunately I can't do a ton about that, due to connectors. Again, can't win 'em all!

Aside: this isn't to crap on CA. I'm sure they worked too. I know they were processing on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It's just I'm in CC right now, so I only have first-hand experience here.

Editorial: and, we have moved to a much better position thanks to this clearing-out of product. Puts us in a much better place for next year. Don't expect this kind of sale again. Well, unless there is another unprecedented global disruption/stimulus/supply chain disruption/purchasing lock-ins to compensate for supply chain probs/unsustainable exuberance/inevitable hangover/ongoing disruptions/us screwing all of this up because hey this schiit has been crazy the past couple years/etc.

Wow, hope you all are doing alright. That sounds tough.

As for my mug, yeah, looks like it can follow one of the Schiit products next year

We have something coming out in early 2023 that I just started writing the chapter for. It starts with, "If I end up dead, it'll be because of this."

More possibilities for 6N1P, ECC88,6dj8,6922
I would consider these for the left side pair but you can always swap sides and get a better idea how they sound.

PM me if there are pairs you are curious about and I will always try to help.
Thanks for this :beerchug:. I'm compiling a lot of info in a Microsoft OneNote workbook. This will keep me busy for a while

That's called "a relatively normal holiday season." Don't get into audio unless you are willing to give up holidays. Compounded by the big guys going in for CES in early January. Complete craziness.

First post for me, but have have read read all of the chapters to date. Some really interesting content. One of my favorite chapters was about Jason’s drive to TX in the snow. As a fellow ZL1 owner I really can’t imagine how stressful that was. Recently I started to get serious about upping my gear from Bifrost/Vidar. My son bought a Vidar a little while ago and when he is home from college we run dual mono. Based on that performance boost vs 1 Vidar I started to consider going to Tyr & LIM Yggy route. Well last week I finally pulled the trigger, and having read all of the stories about Fed-ex home delivery I had to share my frustrating experience to a group that would appreciate it.

So, Fed-ex initially said my 2 Tyrs and Yggy would arrive Tue 29th, but then I received the good news that it was going to be here early Sat 26th, and I should make sure someone was home to sign for it. Saturday came and went, but this AM the tracking said it was out for delivery, but that was the master item. The other 2 items said they would also arrive today, but did not list as bring out for delivery? So, late morning, the master item showed up, and when I asked the driver, he said he only had one item. So then I checked the tracking again, and the other 2 items had moved from MD to VA (I live in DE so going away from me). Now those items are expected to show up Wed!

Can you guess which item showed up? Not the Yggy!

So the only way we'll ever see a Schiit sale again is if we go looking for sick bats to unleash a pandemic on the world resulting in deaths, a catastrophic economic setback, inflation, and historic supply chain disruptions? I think I'll just pay the regular excellent price offered every day, thank you. :xf_eek:

My Magni Piety, aka the MagPie, arrived today. The box had some damage but the contents were fine. This is my Schiit stack in my hobby office (the work office is in the basement). I'll relax with the 'pie and my HD650's this evening and do a bit more close listening on the weekend with both the Sennheisers and the Sundaras. The Freya N will arrive likely sometime next week. I'll take the 'pie into the room with the Asgard 3, Lokius and Freya as I'm curious to hear how it will sound with the various stages of the Freya and modified with the Lokius.
