Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Glad to hear you're back amongst the living! Let's keep it that way! :relaxed: Have you heard any limitations with the Ether C's when plugged into the FV? If you push them with some deep bass, any concerns? For point of reference, trying to play Loreena McKennitt's 'The Mummers' Dance' through my Valhalla 2 really opened my eyes to what "muddy" sounds like. I haven't had a chance to do much but leer admiringly at mine because it's been too frakking hot to do much else with it. :disappointed:
Hey now @GumbyDammit223! I was intrigued with your thoughts above. I put on Loreena McKennitt's 'The Mummers' via Qobuz. Tried it first with my Qoboz=>BF2/64=>Jot2=> DCA Aeon2 Open. Everything sounded very good and well put together. Very enjoyable. Next, I tried it with the Vallhalla2 on low gain. Bass was very muddy and distorted. I tried switching to high gain, and it made everything even worse. I then played the track again with the same setup but with the Feliks Audio Espressivio (also an OTL Amp). The track sounded absolutely exquisite with this setup. The Mummers track on the Vallhalla2 is virtually unlistenable with the DCA Aeon2 Opens. I put on one of my new Grateful Dead discs using the Vallhalla2 and Aeon2 open. Also unlistenable. It appears that the Vallhalla2 doesn't have enough punch to do the job. I guess I've only used the DCA HP's on my Jot2 previously, and they sound great. It appears to me that to some degree or another, the Valhalla2 can't play well with high impedance headphones. Used the Grado Hemps with the same gear, same tracks, and no issues at all.

Totally off topic - this just blows me away.........

“Space," it says, "is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mindbogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space, listen...”

So LISST is up, but I'm unable to check out due to a shipping rate error for the same address I've used on multiple purchases:

Just took order. Should be good to go.
Confirmed. I was able to order a quad for my Freya+.

Said what the heck and threw in a Gungnir as well. I'll definitely be having a nice and Schiity day sometime by the end of the week.

I eventually got it to work by adding a Fulla to my cart, getting a shipping estimate, then removing the Fulla. Guessing the size/weight info was null or something on the backend.

Roses are red,
Tube glow is orange.

Will wait through this parts shortage
Double bonus points awarded for trying to rhyme something with "orange". :sunglasses:
