Sometimes I miss playing with car audio. And then I remember what a pain in the back it is.

The stereo in our CR-V is ok. Bass is surprisingly good. I would love to upgrade all of it but they’re making these things more complicated these days.

By the way if you are really interested in car audio witchcraft, Lonnie Vaughn, chief engineer at Emotiva, was once an amp designer for Orion Car Audio and is responsible for the original red HCCA line, which were stable to 1/4 ohm. Send him an email over on the Emotiva site and ask him about it. :)
I was a representative locally for Rockford Fosgate, Orion was a bit before my time... by the mid nineties it wasn't in my area.

Here is where (most likely) your car speakers are coming from today.
A spin-off from a sixties Philips company in Belgium. This was the factory that build the famous Bombardon speakers in the early days.
Look at them now

Don't forget to factor in noise from road kill. Armadillos are much noisier to run over than squirrels. And drunks sleeping in the road are a wash between the two states. In any event, they all taste like chicken when cooked.

At least the drunks are already marinated, and won't need as much prep work...! 😲

In my mind, MF was a very long shot, making him the most surprising if he were to be the true Yorkshireman. Oh well. :D
