I was referring to the Four Yorksiremen on the OP.
I guess it threw me off when the comment was right below the video of the Lumberjack Song. My mistake then.

It is my understanding that the original sketch was written by Messrs Brooke-Taylor, Cleese, Chapman, and Feldman which is why Cleese and Chapman were happy to re-use it. Barry Cryer appeared in the original sketch as a wine waiter.
I get different info but it is from Wiki and it can certainly have its faults.

I believe you are correct. BC is certainly the waiter, sad to see hime and TBT go in the last year.

@Paladin79 You would have heard TBT in ISIHAC, and if you followed up my recommendation for ISIHAC, the Cryer and TBT were both longstanding panel members as was Graeme Garden from ISIHAC.

@Paladin79 You would have heard TBT in ISIRTA, and if you followed up my recommendation for ISIHAC, the Cryer and TBT were both longstanding panel members as was Graeme Garden from ISIRTA.
and, of course, Barry Cryer is the only Yorkshireman in the original.

I certainly remember TBT.

I was starting on a small build for @Pondoro as well as arguing Joyce's influence on Orwell in a specific novel so pardon me if I was off topic. Per usual I have help. 380F2B34-649D-4B51-8983-3BBFC6E9D22A.jpeg

I have a question about a Lyr 3 and would appreciate any help. I just received a new Lyr 3 and saw a notice about a problem with using a trrs cable, even with a size adapter. I have a 4.4 mm trrrs balanced cable that I planned to use with an ultrashort 4.4 trrrs to 6.3 mm trs adapter from Double Helix cables. Is there any problem using it this way? Thank you.
Using an adapter to "convert" a balanced head phone cable (4.4mm Pentaconn/ TRRRS) to a single ended connector (6.3mm TRS) shouldn't cause you any troubles.

Going the other way, trying to convert a balanced head phone amp output to single ended will only result in heart break (hopefully not a fire).

I now have a functioning set of VU meters for @Pondoro, now comes the part where I decide to install them or add them to a kit he can assemble. They will be adjusted for the output level of a Bifrost or Gungnir.

Finnegan is laying on my mouse pad and shoving the mouse across the desk as he usually does. 😺

Such beauty! Nothing says tradition in audio like a VU Meter or four! Thank you for the photograph.
