NEVER slaughter a hog while hung over. Are you suggesting an honest-to-goodness old fashioned Pig Pickin'? Count me in! I'll wear a full body mask if needed to attend that.

Made a Schiit Lego stack using 3M Dual-Lock tape. Powered mostly with one Chtulu, unless using the Wyrd and Eitr simultaneously. I suppose I could swap out the Wyrd for the Modi 3, and switch between DACs, but I figured I’d use the Sys to hook up to any other analog source
Just the pyst ones. I have an old Monster 3.5 mm to RCA that's built like a tank for connecting any arbitrary line out to the other Sys input. I suppose I could also plug a phono preamp in there, but I never listen to vinyl with headphones.nice pics.
great idea to use double-sided re-closable tape to stick-your-schiit-together.
are those pyst interconnects or DIY, red mogami ?
Why does this sound like my cats, stating the obvious…?Why go to all that effort and trouble when the results are so easily predictable? I'm right, and everyone else is, um, not exactly.
You're welcome.
And I have to ask myself why bcowen is going after THE Texas sacred cow in the 1st place…Not to slight your local businessman, but North Carolina barbeque is so superior to Texas barbeque that any attempted comparison is simply frivolous.

I admit the there may be a conflict at this time between enthusiasm for the experiment and recommendations for social distancing & face masks.
Perhaps we need to consult our good doctor on the other side of the pond?? I'm confident that the intellectual resources available on this forum can solve almost any problem!
Cheers, Jim

Makes ya wonder, don't it?

Anyone that puts vinegar in BBQ sauce is just WRONG!!!
I remember that scene from the movie The Name Of The Rose... loosely based on the novel by Umberto Eco. Oh, some of that crimson sausage. Yeah, no. Sober hog slaughtering... gotcha.NEVER slaughter a hog while hung over.

What a glorious block of tentacled brushed aluminum. So, you mean one uses double sided carpet tape?! I gave up after using sticky, residue-leaving electrical tape. I might try that out. Cool image, eh.

You need the Schiit BackPlane!

it's not double stick, but rather reclosable fasteners. I guess there could still be residue if I ever try to remove the tape, but I can swap out other items (depending on orientation) without removing tape, just pull them apartWhat a glorious block of tentacled brushed aluminum. will you make me one? I wonder how much a custom PCB with appropriately placed connectors would cost? You need the Schiit BackPlane!
