@sam6550a My intent was not to single anyone out, just a reference for my post. I apologize if offense was taken, not meant, just a general blow off of steam.
The great thing about Apple is they don’t require anyone to buy their products. Right to repair never comes into play if you aren’t an owner. This leaves free time to worry about other things you don’t have to voice an opinion on!
...until every product in a given category becomes "NO right to repair."[/QUOTE]

Blow away, conversation never occurs unless divergent opinions surface.@sam6550a My intent was not to single anyone out, just a reference for my post. I apologize if offense was taken, not meant, just a general blow off of steam.
Not really. The issue is, when I buy a device, or am I only being licensed to use the device [with many restrictions]. If I buy a machine, please do not try to tell me that I really do not own it, that I am being granted a license to use there software with a lot of caveats. Bullcrap. I guy down here had a tractor stop working because it had a burned out tail light, Transport this thing 55 miles to a dealer? I don't think so.Amazing what a hot button issue this is with some folks, I'm not even picking on Apple exclusively here.
I'll just move on.

DRM = Digital Rights Management, an attempt to protect copyrights on digital media, and EFF = Electronic Frontier Foundation, an organization who advocate and lobby for their opinons on certain types of consumer rights. So now, I need some help.
What are DRM and EFF?

What is Schiit’s Right to Repair policy? Does it matter?
