Subjectively, because as a Mech Eng I find it quite beautiful...it's design gives me pleasure. :)

Reason enough?
To keep it as an object of art and curiosity, yes. To think of it as a still-meaningful tool, not really. :)

I've also never seen Big Lebowski. Nor The Princess Bride, nor any Jim Carrey movie, nor anything with Ben Stiller or Tyler Perry, nor any modern toilet-humor comedy. Also never seen a single episode of Cheers or Friends nor any recent sit-com. And I don't feel like I'm missing anything.

I feel it is a little unfair to lump the Princess Bride or the Big Lebowski in with Ben Stiller and toilet-humor comedy, but I also respect people can have different tastes in movies. Not a fan of modern toilet-humor, but I find the Coen Brothers generally do good work that.

I liked the soundtrack for The Big Lebowski, especially the Townes Van Zandt song at the end and language does not bother me. If it did I would have to exclude a lot of modern literature.

So your TV is either broken or you don't have one? :D

BTW -- I've never seen the Princess Bride and I am not a big fan of Ben Stiller, although 'There's Something About Mary' is a CLASSIC!!!
