Great meeting @Jason Stoddard and the rest of the Schiit crew.  The 2 channel setup was just sublime.  I got to hear familiar desktop gear with cans I'm not familiar with.  That was fun.  The lovely lady running the canjam booth and I had a wonderful conversation about The Doors when THE David Robinson comes and sits down next to me and starts rocking the Rag/Yggy stack.  Do I get kickbacks since I convinced him to buy half the Schiit there?

I know that's the case for everything else, but I believe Jason has said that's not that practical for 2-channel equipment.

Because 2-channel stuff is much more power hungry than your average headphone DAC/amp to just leave it on 24x7...

Haha, no it wasn't sarcasm. For a moment I thought you weren't familiar with Schiit products, that's all.

What would be the reason to have a device turned on all the time? except if you're using it 24x7, obviously.
