You also have an MJ3. I suspect you will find a way to survive until Vali3 makes it back to you. :D

Ugh, that story hurt my soul a little. You have every right to some righteous revenge.

Even the album credits on Apple Music reflect the fact that they are, as you say, tech nerds, not music nerds. Very minimal and uninformative in contrast to Qobuz. :triportsad:
I think you're both doing nerds a disservice (must defend my clan!).

The real issue, with all that music management software, is that the world at large revolves around pop artists. So, a song has 3 pieces of information, not counting the actual audio: Singer, songwriter, title.

Wait, you mean that a "songwriter" can actually be a lyricist and a composer? Oh, better add those.

Wait, you mean that the backing musicians should be identified as well? Oh, better add that.

Wait, you mean you want to know what instrument each backing musician played? Oh, better add that.

Wait, you mean, ... Wait, you mean... , Wait, you mean... ...

I'm waiting for their heads to explode when they find out that people other than The Beatles sing Eleanor Rigby.

Are they nerds? Or are they geeks? 🤔

Yeah same with the RD. Kinda funny but I put on noise canceling headphones when I use it.
Someone needs to invent a combo record cleaner/streamer/amp that uses music to clean the records

So you wanna knock the dust off the ole woofers in an easy going manner?

...
With vinyl, at least no "tech bro" can delete stuff from my library anymore because it is either not profitable to them or offends their sensibilities. ... at least with vinyl I now OWN my music instead of leasing it from a service. ...
Ditto for me but substitute CD for vinyl. I'm really in a good music collecting sweet spot right now with my various setups and actual time to listen to music.

... I also have several quality magnifying lights with glass lenses.
I always thought I wanted one of those. Can you recommend any?
