This ain't the site for bickering politics. Lots of sites there like locals.com or something if you guys want to discuss those more passionately

Yup! Copyright date of 1979 on the back cover. Telarc did quite a few recordings with Kunzel conducting the Cincinnati Symphony, and all of them very enjoyable.

Pulled the trigger on a CD version of this.
Laughed when I saw:

The version I heard on Qobuz and previously commented on is the RPO under Beecham - very large orchestra and chorus (great voices). Recording is interesting with great spatial cues, but L-R balance is pushed to the L. Top end treble is missing - very anemic cymbals.

I have the discs of the 1959 Royal PO version. Too many, well, everything…

Despite a number of extraneous States, Zone 6 takes it for Red or Green. :smiley_cat:
Red or Green, I miss being asked that question. Santa Fe beckons....

They really love my old LCD XCs, remember the ones with the wood cups and weigh 500 lbs! Those. :)

The wood is Paladin beautiful though.

Wow, as a result of typing that I just thought of:

"Finnegan Tabby Tiger Wood Custom Cups"......

.......(sorry, but they're smaller than speakers, and you can stack them for space savings! Now bcowen will want the first pair in D cups to go with his new lamps....)
I have both Lyr 1 and 2, they’re both pretty special, I agree!

One of the few pics of my best buddy Hobbes (2001-2018). He earned his keep. He also liked spicy chicken and sauerkraut.

A good life, well lived. Sorry for your loss.

That is why there are so many recordings---different orchestrations, different artistic interpretations, different tastes. Pick the one you like best. I personally like a number of Messiah recordings, and I really cannot single out one as a favorite.
Agree completely!

I decided Qobuz wasn't for me. Multiple login requests a day for every device (I have several).
...
Don't buy Beelink mini pc, btw, to run roon on.
That's odd. Are you playing Qobuz through Roon? It's what I do and I play Qobuz on multiple devices, and I've never had to login (besides setting up the Qobuz account in Roon settings).

When playing on the Qobuz app (not through Roon), I only have a single account (not family plan) and if I try to play on a different device it merely pauses and asks which device to play on, with no login involved. When do you see a login request?
