Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Oh, come on. If one is going to dream -- DREAM BIG!

HDMI is not gonna happen, Jason and Mike have been pretty clear with their feelings about licensing, etc. I think XLR connector for HP would be nice, but it would be SE (not balanced) and I don't think it will physically fit. If one has XLR then Halo is a real possibility assuming PCB real-estate.

I'm off tomorrow and it's my FRIDAY today, so just having a bit of fun. No harm/no foul, I hope. :D
ANOTHER day off? You must work for the government.

Deleted some incorrect tech info. If you don't know, don't speculate.

Concerning component selection, I have found that all Schiit products, without exception, use very good, better than average, high grade parts. Nichicon, CDE, Wima, etc., are the benchmarks in component quality. Sure, they do not use any $250 Arglebargle frog fur gold encapsulated irradiated cryo treated oil caps in the Freya, but there is a performance and price point; and, you certainly can argue whether they make the device sound better. Please note that I said 'better'! Changing components could make a unit sound 'different', but not 'better'. Don't believe ANYTHING you read on the internet---the designer knew what he was doing when he designed and voiced his product. Don't agree? Fine, go get an engineering degree, design circuits for 20 years or so, and I will be glad to talk to you--although it is doubtful that I will be alive.

You don't think that listening is a challenge? How old do you think we are?
@Paladin79 told me he'd installed some lithium batteries in his hearing aids that made a huge difference. Have you tried those? 🤣 🤣 🤣

Wait until you retire, and every night is Friday night, and every day is Saturday. This coming from someone that worked a full-time job for 45+ years.

For sure! My only regret is that I didn't do it 45 years ago. 🤣
