Listening to Blues Image 'Ride Captain Ride' and recalling how at 10 years old I would go to sleep with an AM radio under my pillow waiting to hear it and other hits of the time. When your fondest memories of youth center around music, that's when you know you've been a music lover / audiophile in the making for as long as you can remember. 😍

Music has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember and will will be until I shed this mortal coil. Thanks to Schiit and you fine folks for sharing and helping me rekindle this passion.

Vali 3 looks very nice to me. Like a mini-Lyr. If it was a different tube or some major difference in the circuit I might consider one but my Vali+ is working just fine.
Jason wouldn’t release it as a new amp (with the new number, denoting a major revision). So I’d say you might consider one. I know I will.

Some not liking the design here, but it does make for safer tube rolling. Also, this baby is now 100v. Interested to see what Jason has to say about it. Also it looks like he went with the Russian 6N1P, I remember reading somewhere on here that they heard Jason really liked this tube but was afraid to use it due to heat? Something like that.
Given someone at the show said same tube, I’m betting on 6N3P again.

I say wait until the official announcement and post here where he gets into detail as to what's changed. I suspect it is more than the rails and case.

That would be awesome for your stash of 5670’s that was, how many again? 758? Or have you added more? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Other than the 100v rail, far from what I can tell is that the Vali3 is nothing more than a Vali2++ with a better case.
Strongly doubt that, but idle speculation won’t get anyone anywhere.

What?!? You threw that away? You were supposed to save it in case you wore out the other 757. Geeez. Or did you gift it to @ArmchairPhilosopher ?

I suppose if you really wanted to, you could adapt a injector nozzle heater such as these made by Briskheat:

Do not overtighten ...... :L3000:
