Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Visit Paladin in person, buy him a few drinks plus bring him a bottle of wine, enjoy the music from his tube amps, then carry home the flight board by yourself, good idea, right?

Possible since I had to renew my passport for family reasons, but unlikely due to being on a fixed income 😵😵

Huge selection and great prices, in general... they do a lot of coupons and specials. Here in NorCal we've had Beverages and More (a.k.a. BevMo!) as our major liquor reseller for a long while, but they have become less and less competitive against the Safeways and Costcos of the world... Total Wine (if they can keep up their low price strategy) might put BevMo out of business. It's totally worth a trip to Total Wine <G>. Wine aside, their beer and whisk(e)y selection will blow you away.
Yep, I haven't shopped in a BevMo since we got a Total Wines here. One is over priced and the other has almost everything at decent prices. The biggest problem with Total Wines is that if you ask for a recommendation, it will often be a house brand that they recommend and not what tastes best for the price.

@Paladin79, this turned out to be an exquisite piece and I am honored for it to be in my possession. Many, many thanks. 😊

These three bottlings have the unique distinction of having spent time inside Kelvin Cooperage barrels - a very high quality barrel maker out of Kentucky with whom we've done business for a long time.

L-R:
Peerless Straight Bourbon Single Barrel Selection store pick at 111.5 proof

Oregon Spirit Distillers Cask Strength Straight Bourbon - a special blend we did a couple years ago with Master Distiller Marianne Eaves at 122.8 proof

Four Gate 'Kelvin Sixty' 8 Year Straight Bourbon crafted specially to celebrate Kelvin Cooperage's 60th anniversary at 125.6 proof

Couldn't think of any finer or more potent way of breaking in this fine piece of woodwork. Cheers, Tom!

I have a lot to learn about Bourbon and Whiskey.

I seriously did try to make the first amp cabinet out of tiger maple but it was an inch thick and allowed little space on the inside. 🤪 Normally 42 inches of 3/4 hardwood works but those were normal amps for normal people.🙄

Here is a photo of the original cabinet, I could have made it work if the pots and jacks were on each end, but no yours had to be on the sides.🤣
I just went and looked at every picture on Schiit's site, and not a single offering has the controls mounted on the end (well, except the toilet paper). See, my Incubus has the controls mounted on the front, and everyone else has theirs end-wise. Mine would still look awesome if it was end-wise of course, but then I would have to re-copy your mini rack with a new build that would allow for it. 🤣
