Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Yes, digital output with SPDIF (rca) works well, understand the output is switchable via front panel or remote, and not simultaneously. Schiit sells a PYSST USB cable, that I bought, but it is not for the purpose of digital output from Urd to the BF264. I asked the Schiittalker about it, went round and round, and the issue was resolved by suggesting I listen thru SPDIF and to forget the Unison USB hoohaa.
The Schiittalker's intelligence is artificial, handle with care.

Urd qurik: digital output is either spdif or USB (selectable via front panel or remote), but not both simultaneously. It should be capable of working with BF2 via USB
Why do you need 2 simultaneous outputs when the Urd is playing?

Urd offers USB, SPDIF coax and AES.

I imagine the Bitfrost 2 has a USB-B input. You can get a USB-C to USB-B cable.

Seeking some advice please. Looking to get a preamp for second setup. Want to run in active mode but be as neutral and transparent as possible. Wondering what difference I might experience in sound between a Saga in JFET. Saga+ with stock tube and Saga + with Lisst. Thanks all.
They r both solid state, but with +, you get a bit of sound altering posibilities!

Been listening to my new Yggy GS+2, great googly moogly! It’s everything people have already stated for years, the bottom end, the sound stage, the detail and really just the raw umph up and down the spectrum. It’s doing for my two channel system what the Mjolnir 3 did for my headphones and now that system gets the Gumby and the Vali+ gets the Modi MB. What really hit me is Yggy has got me seriously considering phasing out the vinyl. It seems to be giving me everything that I want from vinyl but it’s still early days. So, Yggdrasil OG is really good in case you hadn’t heard.
Indeed it is! Congrats!

And the SineWave reverts once again to Monty Python :)
It's called "regression to the mean" IIRC. At least it's not just mean.

It worked great with mine - and is now having one helluva party with Yggdrasil + GS2! No issues.

What? I’m using a C to B cable from somebody (cable matters?, monoprice?) but it works a treat with Urd and Schiit DACs (B2 and Yggy GS2). The Schiit cable is just a male A to Male B, so it won’t work with Urd’s C connectors anyway.

Way Off Topic (even for this thread) Warning:

Commercial pilots and air traffic controllers: I saw a news story about a near miss at an airport. Passenger liner was taking off, a cargo plane was following the passenger jet down the runway trying to land. Eventually the cargo plane pulled off and circled around again, so no crash. According to the news story, poor visibility (not evident in the video) was blamed for the near miss. Seems like a garbage explanation to me: even if it had been cloudy/ foggy, aren't instruments enough to keep that from happening if people are paying attention?

Just curious.
