Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

That seems angled, not even with the face. Not good. Again surprised with QC on this product.

in your case it may be a question of loosening the drive’s attaching screws and realigning it if possible.

I would not mess with that. If I remember from one of Jason's posts, these plates are affixed to the tray to make the facade match as the drive mechanism is sourced from a third party. Definitely contact Schiit if it is an issue for you though to see if it is something user fixable (I would 100 percent bet not, even if it is the drive itself and it may void your warranty to try it.)

My comments re adjustments are just that, pure speculation on the mechanics of the issue. My suggestion to @styler was to contact Schiit, not to do it.

It is an issue and the attitude by some that it does not matter, only the function matters, is a personal decision. Cosmetics do count. Count so much that some insist on silver and constantly demand it. Well… some prefer cardboard. :)

Agreed, I did not think you were trying to lead anyone astray, I just wanted to reinforce to contact Schiit and see what they say before doing anything rash!

Spotted this in the library where I was attending a recital by a local flute quartet...20230719_112806[1].jpg
No, I didn't check it out to view at home. Some things are better left to the imagination.
When we were in Quebec last year the museum there had an exhibit on good ol' No 2.

Not for the faint of heart....
