I can’t +1 Blue jeans hard enough. I have Canare bi-wire cables from them and the craftsmanship is bananas good.

From the “I also want a Pony“ department: I was hoping to see some StraightWire USB B-to-C and A-to-C options under PYST (their cables are really, really good, check out eval work done somewhere on the web by atomicbob). Rolling the dice on CableCreations for now, I guess…

I would love to see PYST B to C options.

I've found other options for USB 2.0 B-to-C to include the following, but all are assembled/made in China I assume. Also make sure you order a USB 2.0 cable as the USB B plug is different for USB 3.* . And the Mini-B and Micro-B are straight out.

@gdhal In the big scheme of things, you are arguing about something that doesn’t really matter. People only care about good sound. I could care less if the Urd was the only CD transport that outputs USB or it wasn’t. Buy an Urd if you want one. Or don’t, but stop trolling this thread

Well, this is probably the first thing Jason has posted that has not resulted in me suffering from FOMO.

Turns out that Roon on macOS is unable to discover any and all DACs connected via USB if and when Microchip's MPLAB X was already running when Roon starts up. Works just fine when Roon was opened before MPLAB X.

Who knew?!

Only cost me two hours of my life to figure that one out…
