Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Hey US Pacific Northwest region people! After reading about the recent Carolinas get together; what would there interest be for a PNW Schiit Meet? My thinking is somewhere along the Interstate 5 corridor, possibly SW Washington giving both WA and OR members easy access. PM me if interested
If you do get something going say the word and I will try to donate a few items for door prizes.😉

I really enjoyed this LP last weekend when I had the house to myself with Mani 2, Saga OG, and JBL monitors

Was not familiar with Keith Carlock until I heard him while he was touring with Steely Dan. He's an extremely talented drummer.

I forgot to mention my Turntable is an 80's vintage Ariston RD11 customized with some Linn internal parts by my brother years ago

Excuse the dust, Thomas decided to walk on it.

First saw the Ariston in the early 1980's at a boutique HiFi store in Nutley, New Jersey. The dealer insisted it was exactly the same as the Linn LP12.

All I know is that it sounded great. Even encouraged me to purchase a SystemDek IIX . Still have that table and purchased a NOS Jelco 370h oil damped tonearm from the mid 1980's, to eventually install on the IIX.

Seattle can be a day trip from Vancouver, BC -- Oregon would be an overnighter...

Just plugged my single Rekkr amp into my 2 channel rig. Not too shabby driving my 2x 8 ohm Tekton Lore Refs via Freya N. 2 very strong and clean watts.

Watch out Decware and Pass Labs. 😄

You need another Rekkr. Just imagine what you can do with 4W!! FOUR WATTS!!
No sarcasm intended here. Tektons seem to be made for this kind of amp.

SchiitrMeet July
Syn and Atoms 2

Hey guys,

Let's try this again. Last time, the TV we had wouldn't cooperate. This time, I think we're set for doing a real blind listening between an Atoms system and Syn.

We'll see. If it doesn't work out, we're just gonna watch this video and drink.

In other news, the real-deal production Urd will be there, and if we're lucky, you may even be able to buy one. I'll see if I can have a real production Mjolnir 3 as well, but don't be surprised if that doesn't ship for a couple of weeks. I'll also be doing a video answering questions and blathering about the future (that will probably also be late).

So, if you're as crazy as I am, please join us at 6 PM PST on July 13 at the Schiitr in Newhall. Questions? Send them to Denise at denise@schiit.com.

I've been thinking about trying mine out on my Dynaudio standmounts.

The Lores are pretty efficient -- low to mid 90dB. It's rated at 96dB, but that might be just a tad optimistic. Not sure about the the Dynaudios, but it cost you nothing to try and of course, nothing ventured... 😏

Yes, but just imagine how good an Aegir would sound there instead... Or you could put 4 Rekkrs in parallel.
