Unless I'm mistaken, Mjolnir 3's front facia controls are, from left to right:
- Input select between XLR (up) and RCA (down)
- Preamp output select between on (up) and off (down)
- Volume knob
- Gain select between high (up) and low (down)
- Output stage topology select between push-pull (up) and single-ended (down)
- Gain stage topology select between feedback (up) and no feedback (down)

MJ 3. No extraneous stuff. No microprocessor. No screens. Very simple and mechanical, as Mjolnirs always have been. Remember, asking for something over and over reduces the chance it will happen.

Two right side holes are for heatsinks. Two left side holes are for vents.

Maybe I'll give you a Bluetooth remote with VU meter displays for amps (and temperature, and output current, etc) for those who want something more verbose. LOL!

Got it in one.

And yes, gain is independent from feedback. Using feedback will affect the gain, of course, but changing gain doesn't involve invoking overall feedback.

As I sit here doing the manual...yeesh, lots of little things to do. Urd next.
