That's more "bondage" than Bond. :scream:

I am hoping that Henry Cavill is chosen for the next James Bond. Huzzah!

ORT:ksc75smile:

Henry Cavill auditioned for Bond at the same time as Daniel Craig, but Cavill was felt to be too young for the part. Now, I'm afraid the producers will feel he's too old, and cast Aaron Taylor-Johnson instead. 🤪

Not a bad choice …. Now, who do we really want to portray Miss Moneypenny?

My experience going SE to balanced has been awesome for gaming computers, sources that have 300W+ video cards. I could almost never keep the usb line clean from some noise creeping in.

On my desktop, I just use toslink to my Bifrost and don't worry at all.

On my 2 channel system, I needed the PC to use usb out to a dac... What really had a big impact, was using the Modius in balanced mode. It cut out a lot of the whining/hissing noise from the PC, that was previously there w SE. Very little noise did still come through with balanced, so I picked up a Wrd. That cleaned up the rest of the noise. Although... I have not tested the Wrd on SE to see how effective it is there... I'll keep to balanced for this system and am very happy w the Schiit implementation!

Prior to this, I tried all kinds of usb dongle/power filters to try and save a buck... But they were mostly not good for DACs.

I may (not) have previously shared, but a good pre-bond Daniel Craig movie is Layer Cake. A fun movie about middle management - in the drug trade.

Zardoz! A movie so bad, it’s actually good. Hahahahahaha
I have a concept. Some movies I call a glorious failure. Taken as a whole, they are a failure. But, they have aspects that are great. Another example for me was David Lynch's Dune. These movies have some reach, take risks, do some things never done before. Sometimes the risks pay off.
If given the choice to watch a boring cookie cutter movie that plays it safe or a bad movie that takes some risk and that sometimes succeed, I would watch the later movie. Okay, maybe watch it only once.

This was the first movie a friend of mine watched after getting a new DVD player with component video. He was very confused why the tough-guy enforcer drove a hot pink Hummer.

Then he discovered he had connected the cables wrong, and it all started to make sense.

There are singles, EPs, LPs, movies etc that are so bad that they are hilarious ==> get cult status ==> become cultural pantheons (😲?).

What audio components (room-fi, head-fi) can you in this thread think of that fall / could fall into this category? ‘Dishonourable mentions’ are allowed, too.
