Gjallahorn arrived today. The speaker works fine with the banana plug not seated as far the others. I also replaced my shelf with these brackets which also arrived today:

At first quick listen these are certainly better sounding than the JBL 308P MKII they replaced. Will put them thru their paces over the weekend. The Gjallahorn has more than enough power to drive the av123 elt525m, very happy with the purchase

Last year I though i was done with purchasing anything new. a few months later I have a Piety )i got the very last one) a Modi MultiBit 2 and now the Gjallahorn.

3 Schiit stacks now, 2 at home, 1 at work

Watch out y'all moonshiners ... and, don't think you can hide in Atlanta, @bcowen ... AJ is an ol' Georgia boy.

But Atlanta is an awesome place to hide. I get lost and can't even find myself almost every time I go somewhere.

(GPS is for wussies....it's the modern day equivalent of stopping to ask for directions. 🤣)

Mrs. Biv laughed in my face when I told her that Yggy was my last audio purchase for "awhile". She's smart like that. :beerchug:

Being lost and thinking that you're hiding are two different things. You may want to write that down. :sunglasses:

RIP David Lindley :crying_cat_face:
Dangit. I was listening to Ry Cooder this evening and was thinking about cueing up El Rayo-X. Sheesh. Since January we've lost Jeff Beck, Wayne Shorter and David Lindley. Sux.

I'm still rocking some av123 speakers in my home theater

*EDIT*
I checked back and found several likes. The old av123 must have some rememberers.
My AVS Forum home theater build thread images got borked back when AVS changed settings a few years ago.
Anway here is that link -- https://www.avsforum.com/threads/my-batcave-ma-rack-rives-designed-room.1078118/
And added a picture of LCR = av123 Rocket RS1000 Signature + Rocket RSC200 Signature and SVS PB12-Ultra/2 subwoofer.

When I say that to mine, she just responds with -- "Right. A 'while' as in the mere seconds between clicks of the mouse." :D
