Bear with me, I got the new Schiit incorporated into this rig and wanted to share. Freya N feeding a Vidar, with a Bifrost and Mani assisting with source duties.
The tuner is a Rega Radio 3 (not many of those left I’m sure) with a Rega P25 turntable, rounded out with old NAD CD and Cassette deck. Transducers are a work in progress, currently Polk bookshelves but dreaming of adding Mission 770s.
Your furniture illustrates my problem with some brands. Domestic audio companies who decide it looks more pro to build the faceplate extra-wide, as if it's designed to fit into a studio rack, i.e. 19" wide instead of 17". At least Bryston puts correctly spaced bolt holes so their gear can be rack mounted, but some hi-end brands don't do even that.
My hi-fi furniture is built with 17" openings and fitted doors. No super-fancy gear for me!

Tyll recently gave up the Nomad lifestyle and has once again settled in Montana near his son's home (with his son??). Still focusing on his Ukulele. I think he may be teaching classes as well......
He was instrumental in my journey into headphones. I’ve forgotten how many years ago. Indirectly he even lead me to Schiit.
Not only was he a great source of info about headphones, the company he founded made some fine electronic equipment, starting before Schiit was on the scene. The included a versatile DAP with some rca audio inputs. Sure, the DAC part was outdated after 3 or 4 years, but I used the pre-amp section for years. I just recently put it aside to make room for Lyr 3.
In regard to Leo’s post, my understanding was that Tyll had returned to Bozeman to get surgery on both his hips, and be there to recover with his daughter’s (?) help. Full recovery from that surgery takes at least 3 months as I understand it. It was my impression this was just an interruption in his nomad lifestyle, not a permanent change. But all my information is from his blog, where he makes only occasional posts.
This was a favorite cat, Hunter was right up there with Finnegan. We spent a small fortune having the University of Tennessee’s Vet program try to save him.
I'm lucky, I have had many cats but I actually currently own my favorite cat of all time. He's not a big cat but he has huge hutzpah. And he is cuddly as crap when he wants to be and comes when I call (mostly) and is NOT food driven - except wild food.

Sorry for your loss, he looks a bit like Finnegan. After many years of raising show quality cats we now only do rescues. We lost many a cat because of breeding practices.
