Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up

Any more near field and those would be some ginormous headphones! :)

The lowest knob on the Lokius is effecting 20Hz +/- whatever else is in its Q range.
The KEFs are rated down to 51Hz, so yeah, probably not going to notice anything down that low (until you put a subwoofer under the bed).

Hope the renovations are going smoothly!
I have a Martin Logan subwoofer that I've been thinking of putting back into rotation. Unfortunately, the renovations are going much slower than I had hoped.

It is important to get up fairly regularly.

Stay in bed too long and the relatives will start divvying up your stuff they want, and selling off the rest of it.
Is it bad my parents already said for my brother and me to start dividing up the china cabinet? I know there is easily two handfuls of people on this forum older than they are...

Can vouch for the condition and packing quality from @FLTWS Have purchased several items from him the last couple months. Even received a nice stash of tubes from him just this evening. Buy with confidence.

I use KEF Q150s in my office setup and they definitely benefit from a sub, BUT it's not something you want to be tripping over in the middle of the night ...
Plenty of time to play with the 20Hz knob once the renovations are wrapped up :)
Hope you get to enjoy your newly renovated living space soon!

Tonight's listening, on repeat for the last few hours. Do yourself a favor and hear this on an Yggy LIM through a Freya before you die. Incredible!

I was just listening to Grant Green's Corcovado. I have to listen to this now. Nice coincidence

the music is already so pleasant, but they did a luscious job creating such an intimate mix for this recording. really great recommendation. @theeclone i don't have the Yggy LIM through Freya setup but even with what i do have, just beautiful.

JC

I've seen this before and one of the things that just blew me away was getting to see Ringo "almost" launch off his stool around the 9:00-9:30 mark. He's generally a very laid back drummer but it was great to see this live energy from the early days.

I'm gonna have to write my congressman. Cardboard-free zones like this should be either heavily taxed or eliminated. 🤣
….sorry @bcowen, “Pulp Fiction” has been out a loooong time…..🤣🤣

Another totally off topic question for all you schiitheads  A recent "mad science" project out of the warped minds of myself and wife consists of a diy truck camper to fit our dodge dakota. Enjoying weekends out on forest service roads, the coast etc.

Looking for a small bluetooth speaker, USB-C rechargeable - not needing earth shaking volume, good balance preferred ....
I have experience with the Tribit MaxSound Plus. Its reasonably compact, good sound, USB-C (from memory, I gave it away to a friend). I'd buy anther if I was travelling again.

Glad they arrived in good shape. Now that the cat's out of the box, Orange5o bought all my remaining 12AU7 and 6922 types.
And PM's keep on coming. Less to move in April when I go the old folks home.
And no, I don't have any SuperBowl tickets for sale:jecklinsmile:

I have and original Fugoo Tough speaker that works awesome in the outdoors and used to take it camping in my younger days. Only drawback is that it is USB-micro for charging. They've also changed the firmware a bit - so you can buy a pair and run them in stereo. Super long battery life - like 40 hours at a moderate volume.

The JBL Flip speakers are excellent. I use mine camping.
